Jacobs Digital Project Controls Leader (Senior Manager) in San Diego, California
We are looking for a driven and collaborative Digital Project Controls Leader(Senior Manager) in San Diego, CA to join our Project Controls Team. As a key member of our team, you’ll provide the day-to-day leadership/insight/digital delivery solutions, support and execution of project controls functions for a variety of projects and programs. You will be responsible for growth services, PMCM system Implementation, budget/cost control, change management and schedule monitoring, analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Responsibilities:
Oversee project budget/cost management (e.g., project cost and commitments tracking, project cost forecast, labor, and other direct costs monitoring).
Oversee the preparation of project monthly reports, weekly change management reports and the program’s online dashboard
Ability to create and updates CPM schedules in P6.
Experience in e-builder, Prism- Contruent , Procore, Power-BI, Unifier, Primavera P6, Oracle, Kahua, Experience in Python SQL coding
Skills with Excel Macro level, Databases (MS Access, SQL), XML, Power BI and dashboard development
Experience in project controls, commercial operations, with emphasis on project controls and financial issues
Participate in program/project progress and status review meetings.
Communicate schedule status on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reports.
Contributes to development of new techniques and standards.
Independently applies advanced techniques and analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent relevant work experience
10+ years of project cost controls and project/construction management experience
10+ years of experience with Primavera P6 scheduling projects, programs, and portfolios
Specific experience in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management, risk management, cost analysis and variance analysis
Ability to develop and evaluate major program cost estimates and extended budget projections to identify and quantify critical budgetary, cost, schedule, technical, and programmatic risk factors
Experience building and maintaining Primavera P6 resource loaded schedules
Experience building and maintaining Primavera P6 cost loaded schedules supporting forecasting and multi-year planning
Program Management related experience
