Our Platform Telemetry QE team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and experienced QA engineer with a passion for automating their workflow. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, passionate about automation, and an excellent critical thinker, problem solver, and communicator.
Description
You will be joining a dynamic team responsible for delivering best-of-class battery life and performance for all of Apples products. As a Core OS Telemetry Tools and Automation Engineer you will be responsible for testing currently shipping and newly developed features. You will be creating test plans, executing manual tests, writing and maintaining automated tests, submitting, triaging, and escalating bug reports of battery life issues. Successful candidates will have excellent organizational skills. You’ll be running and maintaining many different tests at a time across many difference scenarios and need to keep careful track of the results, as well as the creativity and iniaitaive to help us proactively discover battery life issues and areas of improvement. You’ll also have an amazing opportunity to work with cross-functional teams on planning for the next set of cool features which will take our products to the next level.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong understanding and application of scripting and programming languages such as Swift, Python, Bash, and Javascript
Experience in writing and maintaining test suites, both automated and manual
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Previous experience with software QA testing and testing methodologies

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $195,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
