ASM Global Conversion Crew - Part Time in San Diego, California
Responsibilities:
Set up, strike, and changeover of events; including but not limited to chairs, portable staging, tables, bleachers, and other related equipment per tenant specifications.
Put up, take down and repair existing dasher boards and glass.
Set up and take down the press-box area.
Repair and maintenance on lower-level retractable seats.
Repair and maintenance of arena sub-floor.
In conjunction with engineers, put in and take out ice for ice hockey, ice shows, or exhibitions.Assist engineers with scoreboard set up and take down.
Repairs and preventative maintenance to building and parking lot as needed.
Load and unload supplies and materials as needed.
Transportation of materials to and from off-site locations for delivery, set up, and takedown for off-site locations.
Assist in construction duties.
Any duties not specifically listed here but may be required to set up an event or maintain Pechanga Arena.
Other duties may be assigned.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum 1-year experience in building maintenance or related field.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Good verbal and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff including management.
Must exhibit strong customer service skills, professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.
Must be self-motivated.
Ability to work smoothly and efficiently under pressure is required.
Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and odd hours required by each event.

Experience in construction, maintenance, or arena venues is a plus.
Position may require heavy lifting, climbing, carrying, stooping, crawling, and equipment operation both indoors and outdoors.
The position may require working at heights of 60 feet and over, as well as, walking on high catwalks.
The position may require the ability to walk on concrete floors 2 to 4 miles per workday
