Aerotek Cleanroom Production Operator in San Diego, California

Job Title: Cleanroom Production Operator

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily production and packaging activities adhering to GMP and SOPs.

  • Achieve assigned production goals and manage unscheduled workload peaks.

  • Work with Team Leader to detail critical raw materials, in-process procedures, and specifications.

  • Address corrective actions for technical problems related to raw materials and finished products.

  • Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.

  • Report line issues and production problems to Team Leader for corrective action.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with GDP and SOPs.

  • Utilize computerized MRP inventory system to report lot controlled ingredients on batch records.

Essential Skills

  • Understanding of SOPs and ability to provide detailed examples of SOP usage.

  • Knowledge of GDP and ability to explain and follow good documentation practices.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing acronyms and lingo.

  • Machine operation and multi-tasking skills.

  • Experience in quality assurance, packaging, and inspection.

  • Ability to operate computers and familiarity with DHR.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • At least two years of previous assembly/packaging experience.

  • Previous experience in regulated medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment preferred.

  • Understanding or ability to quickly comprehend coagulation-based manufacturing processes.

  • Familiarity with GDP, GMP, GLP, FDA, and ISO.

  • Knowledge of qualification and validation trials is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and large ERP systems preferred.

Work Environment

  • The role includes openings for Technical Operator 1 on the 2pm to 10:30pm 2nd shift.

  • The dress code prohibits leggings, makeup, and lipstick. Necklaces must be tucked into shirts, and glasses require side shields.

  • The environment can be loud, and ear protection is provided.

  • Headphones and cell phones are not permitted on the manufacturing floor.

  • Overtime may be required after initial training, with flexibility needed for potential Saturday work.

  • Reliability is critical to avoid bottlenecks in the manufacturing process.

  • Pay raises are available upon conversion, with opportunities to advance to Tech 2 within three months.

  • Candidates should have experience with machines, computers, and possibly SAP.
