GENERAL SUMMARY

QCT Camera System Engineering team is looking for a camera sensor engineer to test and evaluate prototype camera sensors for mobile and adjacent applications.The candidate is expected to work on the following aspects:• Collaborate with image sensor vendors to evaluate various emerging image sensor technologies, such as HDR and PDAF. • Interaction with sensor vendors to align product roadmap and device spec.• Bring up vendor demo kits for sensor characterization.• Data collection for ISP & 3A development: lab & real life-scene test.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.• 2+ years’ experience in image sensor design or characterization.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: • Master's or Doctoral degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.• 2+ years’ experience in Image Signal Processing design, development, implementation, and verification.Industry experience in the following areas:• CMOS image sensor characterization• Mobile or adjacent market camera module testing• Image quality evaluation and metric development • Analysis tools and automation development• Programming skills in MATLAB and C/C++• Camera module optics design and evaluation• Image signal processing• ISP tuning for image quality improvement

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems

Work Experiences:

2+ years Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Work Experiences:

2+ years experience in Image Signal Processing design, development, implementation, and verification. ,2+ years of experience with programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems. ,2+ years experience in camera hardware or systems design and optimization.
