MCX (Mobile, Compute and XR) Business Operations is responsible for managing the overall operations for our business unit including demand management, supply/demand, NPI, sustaining lifecycle management and reporting/analytics.

The Business Operations Team for MCX is looking for a Business Operations Analyst, Senior in San Diego with a strong background in process/project management, and data analysis. This role plays crucial role in optimizing operations for the MCX Business Unit (BU) with a focus on Compute. This position drives data analysis on supply demand optimization, on-time backlog and shipment support, and collaboration across departments to support Compute business management and growth. The responsibilities include:

  • Driving monthly BU Forecast process: collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure smooth BU end to end forecast process and maintain/enhance the tools/reports to meet S&OP deadline.

  • Understanding Compute business customer product launching/manufacturing plan and Qualcomm product strategies/roadmap.

  • Creating reports for stakeholders to track Build Plan, Supply, Demand, Allocation, Customer Backlog and Commit.

  • Preparing and hosting cross-functional team meetings, including Product Management, Finance, Sales Ops, Supply Chain and Regional Sales.

  • This position will work with large and complex data sets, complete scenario analysis, create dashboard of key metrics, and provide recommendations for both process improvements and operational decision.

  • In addition, the role involves monitoring/executing weekly dynamic demand and supply changes, conducting supply/demand/allocation analysis, and providing essential reporting for informed business decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 4+ years of business operations or related experience.

OR

Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 6+ years of business operations or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Technical, Marketing, or related field 2+ years business operations or related experience.

  • 2+ years experience in Compute industry is a plus

Pay range:

$84,500.00 - $126,500.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
