Description
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s financial processes. Key Responsibilities
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including income, expenses, and other general ledger entries.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, including invoicing and payment processing.
Prepare financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for internal use.
Monitor budgets and track financial progress to ensure alignment with company goals.
Assist with payroll processing and related reporting tasks, as needed.
Liaise with external accountants for tax preparation, audits, and year-end processes.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience required.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or other relevant tools.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, accounts payable/receivable processes, and reconciliations.
Exceptional attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and external contacts.
