Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly closing activities including journal entries, accruals, reporting and analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with Corporate Accounting Policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, Revenue, backlog, general ledger, fixed assets, Cost accounting and financial reporting.

  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across various functions to identify and prioritize financial goals, ensuring successful implementation of key initiatives.

  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their continuous growth and development.

  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • CPA certification highly preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing accounting operations and leading a team.

  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and experience with financial reporting.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Tight-knit collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify key drivers of financial performance, particularly in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with SAP, Hyperion or similar ERP system.

  • Self-starter with the ability to formulate out of the box ideas.

  • Well-developed communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with functional leaders toward a common goal of achieving business objectives.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$150,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
