Position
SAS has an opening for a Stocking Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
Understand stocking & receiving requirements with use of tablet & scanner.
Ability to work with management to develop short and long term strategies for warehousing.
Lead a team in stocking product within given deadlines.
Ensure all pending work is completed daily & monitor D365 status
Research & resolve inventory issues pertaining to stocking
Schedule aisle maintenance for stocking members daily (day & evening stockers)
Assist in maintaining the inventory of the warehouse matches the inventory in the system.
Must be able to task and lead two shifts successfully.
Communicate with warehouse leads regularly to understand the status of warehouse operations and to provide guidance and direction.
Create, develop and deliver written procedures and training materials for the stocking team.
Coordinate and communicate with other department managers to identify and resolve operational issues.
Run manual replenishment reporting as needed to maintain adequate stock for high velocity products
Coordinate with inventory control supervisor to complete staging & movements for new product releases
Coordinate with inventory control supervisor to complete velocity reporting movements from forward pick locations
Assist in managing employee hours to stay in compliance of company standards
Involved in all aspects of inventory control to achieve company goals.
Lead the DC to be as efficient and productive as possible without sacrificing safety.
Direct and lead stocking projects.
Must be willing to learn and backup all department supervisors within the DC.
Monitor & report on stocking KPIs to increase stocking efficiencies
Be the department safety champion through enforcing safety policies.
Backup for night stocking lead as needed
Conduct quarterly inventories as required

Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Push & pull carts/pallets up to 100lbs
Must be able to walk/stand for 8 – 10 hours.
Able to walk up and down stairs
Work overtime as needed
Education & Experience Requirements
1-2 years of supervisory experience.
Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and especially Excel).
Experience with ERP in a warehouse environment (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus).
Experience with training and writing training documents.
Fluent in conversational Spanish is very helpful, but not a job requirement.
