Automation Test Engineer - Must have Python and Java experience
Description:
Starting up automation test program for HR cloud system using Oracle HCM, they will need to understand manual test process and interact with test expert, will use python and java to automate. Will need to work engineers to help with tech connections of system. The Automation Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining automated test scripts within our Automated Regression Test Solution, focusing on our Oracle HCM product and custom components. Test related activities include front-end, back-end, performance, and regression testing of various software solutions. Scope of testing will include Oracle Global Human Resources Cloud (Oracle HR) and internally developed web systems. This position involves close collaboration with the project team to design, develop, and implement automation scripts that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our testing efforts.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automation test scripts for enterprise, web, and mobile technologies, with a focus on Oracle HCM and customized web systems.
Collaborate with functional and development teams to define automation test requirements and integrate automation scripts with the overall testing framework.
Contribute to the configuration, setup, and maintenance of our automation testing framework, ensuring adaptability to system changes and project growth.
Design, execute, and maintain automated test plans, cases, and scripts that align with project objectives and timelines.
Evaluate software and system functionalities using automation practices to verify performance and adherence to specifications.
Analyze automation test results to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
Participate in the continuous review and enhancement of automation testing standards, procedures, and tools.
Skills:
Automation testing, with a focus on web and enterprise applications
Python, Java, and experience with Windows environments
Continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust Security clearance.
