THIS POSITIN IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD

The Senior Project Manager-RMMR reports directly to the Program Manager-RMMR and is responsible for the management of projects/service orders under the USACE Huntsville Recurring Maintenance Minor Repair (RMMR) program.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for all aspects of the effort and shall have the autonomy from the corporate headquarters to execute the effort unimpeded by corporate management.

  • Responsible for the successful performance of multiple contracts and ensuring project safety and quality control.

  • Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with team members, vendors, management and other departments.

  • Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining regular contact and communication.

  • Manage Service Order (SO) requests and lead crews to deliver SO requirements safely, on time, and on budget with limited direct supervision.

  • Manage financial performance on all awarded Service Orders (SO) to include cash flow, schedule and budgets.

  • Effectively review and understand estimates to determine proper work tasks, labor and material are identified to execute the SO.

  • Effectively communicate with client personnel to ensure expectations are being met or exceeded.

  • Effectively communicate with internal Service Lines to ensure all necessary resources are in place as needed to support project execution needs (plan ahead)

  • Manage assigned company resources to optimize project execution on assigned SO to include personnel, equipment, material, etc.

  • Coordinate with Safety Manager - Fuels to ensure safe work practices are in place for all assigned project execution activities, as well as all required personnel training and certifications are in place for assigned personnel resources.

  • Coordinate hiring process effectively with HR and office management personnel

  • Coordinate with the Quality Manager – Fuels to ensure compliance with all quality control processes and requirements with respect to projects and welding procedures and all welder certifications.

  • Support Senior Leadership in preparation of annual business plan development and execution.

  • Attend briefings, conferences, and other Government designated meetings as required in the execution of this effort or as requested by the COR.

  • Travel to client sites and/or offices as required for periodic performance reviews and meetings.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in construction management, engineering, or related field Preferred.

  • Minimum ten (10) years progressive project management experience in fueling systems repair & maintenance or construction.

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in managing service orders under the USACE Huntsville Recurring Maintenance Minor Repair (RMMR) program.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Experience working with DelTek and CostPoint Preferred.

  • Experience with managing the work of others.

  • Proficient with construction project schedule development and updating

Estimated Salary/Wage

Up to USD $135,000.00/Yr.
