SwipeTrack Solutions On-Site Service Technician in San Antonio, Texas
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bingo Hall Service Technician to provide on-site technical support and equipment installation at our bingo halls across Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading various types of equipment, as well as experience with running and crimping Cat5/AV lines. This role requires travel to various locations within the state, occasionally overnight, to ensure the efficient operation and setup of our bingo halls.
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support for our bingo halls across Texas, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Perform regular maintenance and preventative measures to ensure optimal equipment performance
Install and upgrade technology and equipment at our bingo halls
Set up and configure new systems and devices
Replace or upgrade outdated or malfunctioning components
Ensure compatibility and seamless integration with existing systems
Run and crimp Cat5/AV lines, ensuring proper installation and connectivity
Install and terminate network and audiovisual cabling
Test and troubleshoot cabling issues to ensure proper functionality
Assist with the setup and configuration of new bingo halls, occasionally requiring overnight stays out of town
Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and efficient setup
Provide technical expertise and recommendations for optimal performance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service calls, installations, and equipment inventory
Document service visits, issues, and resolutions for future reference
Track and manage equipment inventory and replacement parts
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operation and support
Communicate effectively with management and colleagues regarding technical issues and project progress
Provide input and suggestions for improvements and process optimizations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree in a relevant field is a plus
3+ years of experience in technical support, equipment installation, or a related field
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking technologies
Experience with running and crimping Cat5/AV lines
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel across Texas
Willingness to occasionally work overnight and out of town as needed
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach
