JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITIED TO:

  • Work within Virtual MEDCEN (VMEDCEN) as the principal Quality and Business Analysis support assistant with supporting responsibility under the VMC Director of Administration for directing, managing, and monitoring Virtual Health (VH) programs for the development and implementation of VH program Clinical Quality Management (CQM). CQM includes the following Programs: Patient Safety (PS), Healthcare Risk Management (HRM), Credentialing and Privileging (CP), Accreditation and Compliance (AC), Clinical Measurement (CM), and Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI). This position will assist senior level management with support to daily management

  • of quality procedures that are applicable across the entire MHS, including each DoD Military Treatment Facility (MTF) and all other healthcare provided by the MHS under the supervision of the VMC Director of Administration.

  • The contractor shall assist senior level management with monitoring workload to ensure compliance to VM productivity requirement standards. The contractor serves as liaison to providers and quality management authorities. The contractor shall assist senior level management with monitoring all measures of quality pertaining to the delivery of Virtual Health care to include access, productivity, and patient satisfaction. The contractor is responsible for assisting senior level management with developing, tracking and reporting all aspects of quality to the VH construct. The contractor will guide VH providers in completing monthly peer reviews. This contractor shall assist senior level management with monitoring peer reviews; recommend and implement corrective measures IAW the predetermined standards set by Clinical Quality Management for the Military Health System. Assist the VMC Director of Administration in evaluating peer performance reviews to determine if stated objectives have been met; analyze and prepare reports for Medical Director; provide recommendations to the VMC Director of Administration for consults with the Medical Director on the findings to determine provider counseling. The contractor shall not conduct any peer reviews

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • A bachelors degree in health care administration, business, information

  • management, or a related discipline is required.

  • Must have knowledge of DoD, Air Force, Army or Navy and Accreditation

  • Association of Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) standards and privacy and confidentiality requirements (HIPAA).

  • Must have working knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD), Federal, State, non-profit healthcare systems and organizations, to include DoD Tri-Service Military Healthcare Systems, TRICARE purchased care system, Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Administration (VA), Public Health Department, and Regional and local support services.

  • At minimum of 10 years of medical administration services is required.

  • An active BLS certification through the American Heart Association

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a criminal history background check

  • Must be able to provide immunization records
