Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, service, and repair various systems found on heavy equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting malfunctions in the field, repairing mechanical and electronic systems, and maintaining equipment such as transmissions, pneumatic systems, and computer-controlled devices. The role requires tuning diesel engines, servicing hydraulic and air systems, and overhauling engines. Successful candidates will keep tools and work areas clean and organized, and may assist in training junior workers.
Hard Skills
Experience with heavy machinery (Excavators, Loaders, Paving Machines, etc.)
Mechanical, Diesel, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic system repair
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot independently
Soft Skills
Organizational skills
Training and mentoring junior staff

This is a contract position with a duration of 26 Week(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in San Antonio, Texas.
Work Environment
