Job Description Summary

The Global Business Services (GBS) Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the GBS organization, which includes functions such as HR, Finance, Commercial Operations, Technical Services and Procurement. The GBS Financial Analyst will work closely with the GBS leadership team and Functional FP&A teams to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business insights. The GBS financial analyst will work closely with the business units, and the external vendors to ensure that the outsourcing contracts are aligned with the business objectives, comply with the financial policies and regulations, and deliver the expected value and savings. The GBS Financial Analyst will also participate in various strategic projects and initiatives to drive operational excellence and value creation across the GBS organization.

Position Summary

The GBS Financial Analyst will work closely with the GBS leadership team and Functional FP&A teams to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business insights. The GBS financial analyst will work closely with the business units, and the external vendors to ensure that the outsourcing contracts are aligned with the business objectives, comply with the financial policies and regulations, and deliver the expected value and savings. The GBS Financial Analyst will also participate in various strategic projects and initiatives to drive operational excellence and value creation across the GBS organization.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for the GBS organization, including variance analysis, key performance indicators, and business drivers.

• Support the GBS leadership team in developing and managing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with the corporate financial targets and strategic objectives.

• Provide financial modeling, scenario analysis, and decision support for various business cases, projects, and initiatives involving the GBS organization.

• Monitor and report on the vendor invoices, payments, and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Conduct regular financial reviews and audits of the outsourcing contracts and ensure compliance with the contractual terms and conditions.

• Collaborate with the business units and the GBS finance team to develop and maintain the outsourcing budget and forecast.

• Identify and implement best practices and process improvements for vendor management and financial reporting.

Required General Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a global or shared services environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial systems and tools.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and continuous learning mindset.
