About these roles:

The Veteran Employment Transition (VET) Program is a nationwide 8-week Spring and Fall internship that converts directly to a full-time opportunity based on performance. We're hiring a class of 75 - 85 interns to begin on September 12, 2022 starting with an intensive training and orientation led by professional instructors and senior Wells Fargo employees. You'll network with your peers and Wells Fargo leaders while developing your skills and knowledge of our financial products and services before joining a team of experienced Wells Fargo employees for on-the-job training and development. If you are a problem-solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, working hard to achieve a goal, learning new things, and improving yourself, this program might be a good fit for you. In addition, successful candidates are team-players who work well in a collaborative environment and have strong situational analysis skills. Program Expectations:

  • Must be able to start September 12th, 2022 and attend full duration of 8-week internship program

Strategy and Planning Consultant for COO (Available locations: Charlotte, NC; New York, NY).

  • Execute strategic initiatives and programs at the direction of the executive leadership

  • Provide strategic consulting services and thought leadership utilizing comprehensive, in-depth knowledge, expertise, and emerging industry trends

  • Partner with senior management across Wells Fargo to define the business strategy and create/execute corresponding business plans and initiatives

  • Communicate clearly and concisely and distill complex data and concepts into succinct messaging and presentations

  • Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Lead Business Execution Consultant for COO (Available locations: Charlotte, NC; Des Moines, IA; Chandler, AZ; Phoenix, AZ).

  • Monitor critical metrics and indicators to identify control weaknesses within the process

  • Conduct thematic analysis to identify drivers of policy adherence deficits and control gaps

  • Escalate control gaps into the appropriate Issue Management routines

  • Maintain the key metric inventory (intent, definition & calculation) to ensure an appropriate control measurement environment Identify & document controls across all processes in accordance with BPM standards

  • Assess control effectiveness across complaints and supporting processes

  • Define new controls as needed

  • Implement and maintain digital marketing programs, execute marketing or direct mail programs and manage major marketing in creative areas or product lines

  • Report and recommend improvements to management regarding marketing and sales materials within marketing

  • Review analysis of products, sales pricing, customer retention, customer profile, sales, profitability and review data in support of program initiatives

  • Exercise independent judgment to guide campaigns

  • Ensure initiatives are executed in accordance with objectives and align with brand and corporate technology standards

  • Present recommendations for analyzing data, monitoring performance, providing optimization recommendations and present output to partners

Project Manager for Commercial Banking (Available locations: Charlotte, NC; San Antonio, TX).

  • A member of the Commercial Change Delivery team and accountable for direct and independent management of primarily low risk projects and occasionally moderate risk projects and/or participates as a member of larger effort(s) to independently manage sub-program component(s) under the purview of a program/project leader

  • Identify and determine the need for business SMEs, sponsors, stakeholders and project roles

  • Identify associated responsibilities, alone or in conjunction with peers, direct manager, project team or program lead

  • Lead the team to achieve project objectives in accordance with related policies

  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI, CD) processes and tools

  • Provide leadership of cross functional/virtual teams to strategize, plan and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives

  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business

  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
