In this role, you will be tasked with safeguarding our organization's digital assets from both internal and external threats. Your responsibilities will span across a variety of areas, including policy development, security monitoring, software management, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement policies for data security, network access, and disaster recovery configurations.

• Regularly monitor security measures to identify possible intrusions.

• Administer the configuration and operation of client-based and server-based security software.

• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all security requirements.

• Utilize skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Design, Eigrp, and Firewall Technologies.

• Effectively manage and resolve complex security issues.

• Keep up-to-date with current trends and advancements in the cybersecurity field.

• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information by designing and implementing appropriate access control measures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust security solutions.

• Continuously improve security strategies by conducting security audits and risk assessments.

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of a Cyber Security Engineer or a similar role

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)

• Proven experience with Checkpoint

• Proficient with Cisco ASA

• Familiarity with Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies

• Strong understanding of Computer Hardware

• Experience with Configuration Management

• Proven ability to Design and implement security measures

• Experience with Eigrp

• Strong knowledge of Firewall Technologies

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
