DLP Services Custodian - Nights - San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas
[This is for a Night Custodian position working for DLP Services at $14.00/hour. The hours for this shift are M-F 11pm-2am. A valid DL is required.

- Maintains the cleanliness of the facility to meet client satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to perform major janitorial cleaning tasks such as vacuuming (using a 25 lb. vacuum daily for 3-4 hours), wet mopping, sweeping, dusting, and emptying out the trash) lifting wastepaper and debris-minimum of 55 lbs.)
- Cleans and disinfects drinking fountains, and restrooms, including floors and all fixtures (i.e.: Urinals, Toilets, Sinks, Mirrors, Partitions, and Counters).
- Fills dispensers and stocking supplies in restrooms.
- Wash Windows and Sill (Door Glass).
- Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends as necessary to meet events and facility schedules.
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs frequently, as well as regular bending and standing as needed in a daily shift.
- Performs other related duties as required.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
- Receives supervision from the Lead Supervisor.
- The position has no formal assigned supervisory responsibility or authority.
- Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor and/or outdoor environment. Works standing and walking for prolonged periods of time while cleaning and/or sanitizing the work area.
- Steps, stoops, crawls, climbs, lifts, bends, kneels, pulls, and pushes while performing job duties such as heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 55 pounds.
- Physical work is a primary part of the job.
- The work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
- Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, cleaning chemicals, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY: This position is subject to the DLP Staffing, Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must pass a background check.
Other: Valid Drivers' License Class C.
