Valero is on the search for energetic and motivated student to join our team as a Community Investment & Engagement Intern. The department is looking for a candidate that has high initiative and is team-oriented.

Internship duties may include:

• Assists with coordination of employee and volunteer events, daily operation of the Valero Foundation NS large scale special events for Valero employees
• Supports and collaborates with the Community Relations and Investment department to plan and execute strategic events in fulfillment of Valero’s community engagement strategies.
• Assists the Community Relations, Events and Corporate Communications departments with current projects and assignments.

This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business or related major required. * Overall GPA of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale preferred. * Obtained at least 60 credit hours by the start of internship (May 2025) required. * Graduation dates of August 2025 through May 2027 required. * Able and willing to work 40 hours per week during the summer at the Valero San Antonio Headquarters required.
