**Tonsore Master Academy located San Antonio TX. is looking for qualified barber educators to expand its hours of operations for the day and night program with a focus in Spanish classes. The night program, hours and days to be determined.

Job Duties:

• Professional Work Ethic and works well with others.
• Theory Class - Review Lesson Objectives and Procedures and Computer testing.
• Teaching new techniques and skills to students, such as how to perform state board procedures.
• Class Management, Manage students goals and progress reports.
• Supervising students during on-the-job training, client services, product knowledge and retail.
• Give Student Demonstrations in the fundamentals of barbering: shaving, facials, manicures, thermal styling, haircutting (men and women), permanent waves and hair color.
• Professional Product Knowledge and retail experience.
• Participating in continuing education programs for professional development.
• Maintain classroom order sanitation and disinfection and overall cleanliness

Job Requirements:

• Must have a current Texas Barber License and three years verifiable barber experience.

``` - Must have a High School Diploma or GED and current Texas Barber License. - Learn and implement the schools curriculum, develop lesson plans and teaching methods, and grading standards. Implement the schools curriculum and daily agenda. - Learn how to use Schools computer systems for booking appointments, student time clock, and Google Classroom. - Excellent Communication Skills to create a positive learning environment for students, through lectures, demonstrations, one on one conversations, explain complex topics and answer students questions. - Demonstrate Presentation skills: Must explain step by step instructions and demonstrate State Board skills. - Teaching methods - Visual aids, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, Presentations, Videos, Group activities, and mannequin practice. - Customer Service - Teach students about excellent customer service, client interaction, demonstrate how to greet clients, listen to clients needs and desires, how to provide a positive experience. Develop people skills, verbal, and non-verbal skills. - Leadership - Strong leadership skills to assign and keep students on task, monitor student progress and evaluating their performance.

Job Position/Interview

• Full time/Part time Day and Evening positions.
• Spanish Speaking Educators needed (Bilingual)
• 20-30-Minute Live Presentation Skills - Utilizing handouts and flip charts.
• $12 - $17 Hourly Wage based on experience.
• Complete and submit job application with references and Professional Resume.
• Submit documentation (Drivers License, Barber License and Diploma/GED)
• Required to give a 20-minute presentation to a panel. Details to be provided.
