Your Impact at SAM

  • Supports the Company in achieving its vision, mission, and core values.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals.

  • This position has direct supervisory responsibilities of employees to include mentoring, coaching, and counseling staff as needed.

  • Oversee strategic resource management.

  • Provide client management and oversight of project delivery in different areas.

  • Collaborate with management to implement strategies to increase market shares.

  • Lead the management and execute business development plans and strategies to expand customer base.

  • Implement best management practices as they relate to proposal development, effective project delivery and execution, and maximize operational profitability.

  • Coordinate with peers across other geographic areas to manage resources .

  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition team to recruit most qualified applicants.

  • Utilize business development skills to expand market shares for new and existing clients.

What You Bring to SAM

  • Experience in the Transportation industry with extensive experience managing people, projects, operations, budgets and business development and developing strategies to achieve business goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.

  • Ability to lead a diverse staff and collaborate with leaders across multiple regions.

  • Must posses a good driving record.

  • History of establishing relevant client relationships and industry contacts in the market.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Transportation roadway construction management experience preferred.

  • Prior knowledge of roadway transportation rules, regulations, and specifications preferred.

  • Possess good writing, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Willing and able to travel as part of ordinary business .
