Job Description

The Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the strategic objectives of the Multifamily Asset Management team through comprehensive reporting and quantitative analysis. This position is primarily focused on analyzing and compiling data related to the multifamily portfolio, providing valuable insights to various stakeholders within the firm. The Analyst will be responsible for property and portfolio level reporting, conducting financial and data analysis with a focus on improving multifamily analytics, and supporting portfolio-wide projects and initiatives.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepare, coordinate and ensure timely completion of property-level and portfolio-level reporting such as annual business plans, quarterly fund reports, monthly status reports, investor-specific questionnaires, and other reports as required.

  • Carry out detailed financial analyses of real estate assets including, but not limited to the following: revenue and expense projections, discounted cash flows, time-weighted returns, and other various financial and performance measurement metrics over the life of the assets.

  • Assist in the property-level market valuation process, maintaining ARGUS models and forward looking cash flow projections.

  • Use statistical tools such as linear regression, time series, correlation, and other analyses, giving particular attention to trends and patterns within the data to aid in the improvement of operating metrics.

  • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and promote the adoption of best practices as related to the above duties and responsibilities.

  • Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Real Estate, or related field.

  • 1 – 3 years of work experience with related responsibilities.

  • Solid understandingof financial analysis concepts, specifically multifamily revenues and expenses.

  • Must be willing to work on-site full-time.

  • Ability to work extended hours as needed.

  • Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.

Key Competencies:

  • High level of proficiency in Excel is essential; experience with ARGUS Enterprise is preferred.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills for completing reporting requirements.

  • Communication skills, adaptability, and being a team player will make for a great fit on this team.

  • Experience with data models, statistical analysis, and large language models preferred.

  • Ability to prioritize assignments and meet multiple competing deadlines.
