Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in San Antonio, Texas

Description We are in search of an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing our financial operations, managing property-related transactions and maintaining partnership financials. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software systems and a strong understanding of billing functions and auditing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage property-related transactions

• Maintain accurate partnership financials, including balance sheets and income statements

• Ensure timely bank deposits, record transactions, issue checks, and maintain actuals using job costing

• Maintain project budgets and provide quarterly reports on actuals to budget

• Create and manage multiple types of formed entities in line with budgets and other costs

• Resolve financial and accounting questions in a timely manner

• Prepare reports for monthly meetings

• Respond to CPA, partner, and shareholder requests

• Conduct quarterly reporting and year-end reporting to CPAs for tax return preparation

• Review and process partnership and loan agreements

• Maintain an organized filing system. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting management or supervisory role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Understanding and experience with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is a must

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) software is necessary

• Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience with Accounting Functions

• Proven experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Auditing skills are required

• Must have experience in Billing Functions

• A professional certification in accounting or a related field is preferred

• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills are necessary

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required

• Must have a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
