Description We are in search of a Software Developer to join our team in San Antonio, TX. The Software Developer will primarily focus on designing, building, and maintaining applications, creating effective and reliable code with an emphasis on performance and reusability. This role will also involve analyzing complex problems and developing appropriate solutions, as well as working with solution or application architects to ensure alignment with business and application standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain applications, emphasizing reliable code and performance

• Analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions

• Work with solution or application architects to ensure system and technical architectures are aligned with business and application standards

• Review and repair legacy application code

• Perform necessary testing to ensure that application logic and functionality executes as expected and provides accurate results

• Mentor less experienced developers and guide them in accomplishing application development tasks using design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps

• Translate requirements into application features, engaging customers and business analysts for more information and clarification as needed

• Create assigned application documentation which may include code, workflow, architecture, environment, database, installation, and troubleshooting diagrams or guides

• Respond promptly and professionally to service requests and bug reports

• Perform root cause analysis of reported application issues and provide long term solutions. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Developer

• Proficient in Atlassian Jira

• Proven experience in Backend Development

• Proficient in Bug Tracking

• Strong knowledge of C++

• Proficient in using GitHub

• Demonstrable experience in AB Testing

• Experience in Agile Scrum methodology

• Proficient in Ajax

• Experience in API Development
