has a potential, full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Family Medicine to work full-time at San Angelo, TX
RN Position Details:
Ind.Nurse
Full-Time, Monday-Friday
- No Weekend OR On-Call!
- Any State License Accepted

Position Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum, Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Graduate from a college or university accredited by (NLNAC), or (CCNE) or the (ANCC).
- Active state or compact RN license to work in the assigned areas
- Experience: RNs must have at least three (3) years full-time experience
- Licensure/Registration: RNs must possess a current, active, full and unrestricted license in any U.S. State or jurisdiction.
- Certification: Active BLS
RN Core Duties:
- l nurses will be responsible for managing physical needs, preventing illness, treating health conditions, and providing healthcare support to our beneficiaries.
- Nursing duties will include, but not limited to, preparing plans for patients, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patients' well-being, teaching patients and staff, and maintaining medical records.
- All nurses will play a critical role in healthcare delivery, health emergencies, and will play a key role in front line disease prevention and delivery of primary health care.
- Provide a full range of outcome-based registered nurse services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF (e.g., supervise and provide general screening and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, acute and chronic conditions involving any and allergen systems.
- Provide immunizations; and treat patients within scope of practice.
- All registered nurses should be familiar with all HCW listed below to support all operations of immunization clinic, family medicine clinic, pediatrics clinic, active duty clinic, student health clinic, deployment medicine clinic, case management, disease management, occupational health, special needs, and telephone triage.
- Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals.
- Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.
- Perform physical exam and health histories.
- Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
- Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
