✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for Youth Care Workers at Yosemite Treatment Center in San Andreas, California✨
Nestled in the Sierra foothills of California, Yosemite Treatment Center located on the Sierra Ridge Campus is a licensed Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program that offers individual, group, and family therapy, as well as evidence-based skill and rehabilitation groups. Yosemite Treatment Center embraces a strengths-based approach within a least restrictive program model and normalized high school environment. Here youth become part of a cohesive, supportive, dynamic community of peers and highly qualified staff. Through Rite of Passage’s Integrated Care Model, Yosemite Treatment Center provides a trauma-responsive program that is individualized for each youth.
Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour. Schedule includes 4 hours of overtime each pay period. $1,000.00 Sign On Bonus.

What you will do: As a Youth Care Worker, you will provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students You will monitor and document student behaviors and activities, participate and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities, and work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.
To be considered you should: Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect Have a desire to work with troubled teens Be at least 21 years of age Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of previous experience employed as a full-time staff at an adolescent group home, short-term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program Have a bachelor’s degree or Valid Child Development Teaching Permit or 12 Semester Units of Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Psychology Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Schedule: 3.5 days per week:
A Shift Sunday/Monday/Tuesday 12-hour shift with 2-hour break and Wednesday 8-hour shift with 1 hour break.
B Shift Thursday/Friday/Saturday 12-hour shift with 2-hour break and Wednesday 8-hour shift with 1 hour break.
