Hunt Electric, Inc. of Salt Lake City, Utah is searching for a full-time Construction Manager in our DAS Department to join our team. The Construction Manager (DAS) position will be a hybrid position that incorporates skill sets and duties of both the field and office teams.

The Construction Manager (DAS) will need to have experience in estimating jobs, planning & running work, material procurement, resource planning, and or subcontractor management.  The Construction Manager (DAS) will also be responsible for the QA/QC Program and help develop and enhance training modules for the field personnel to train on. The Construction Manager (DAS) will also participate in training field personnel from foreman to apprentice levels in all aspects of execution and planning. This position will be the liaison between office and field, with responsibilities in both environments.

Major Duties:

• Assist with Planning and Defining Scope.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of Project Delivery.
• Assist with Activity Coordination & Sequencing.
• Manage Field Installation Team.
• Schedule resources and manpower.
• Assist with project scheduling, budget management, financial projections, material procurement, and closeout documentation.
• Understand Construction Drawings.
• Interact with Client, General Contractor, and Project Stakeholders to understand, prioritize, and manage customer expectations.
• Monitor and report Project Progress, perform risk analysis and mitigation, and control quality by performing QA/QC.
• Perform Team Leadership & Training and assist with team staffing
• Coordinate with Subcontractors.
• Interpret Communications Cable Traces and Troubleshoot Faulty Cables (coax, UTP & fiber).
• Oversee Multiple Simultaneous Site System Installations.
• Perform and Oversee WSP/Carrier base station installations, communications site grounding, and commissioning and turnup.

• Other duties or locations as assigned by manager.

   

    Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ Years in Distributed Antenna System (DAS) or cellular phone tower industry.

• Experience leading small teams.
• Project financial management experience.
• Hold safety in high regard while maintaining a high level of quality craftsmanship exceeding customer expectations.
• Tower experience preferred.
• Willingness to help educate and train team members.
• Experience running large, complex projects.
• Proficient computer skills and strong communications skills.

• Ability to pass a background check and have a valid driver's license.

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am -- 4:30pm and Fridays 7:00am -- 2:00pm.
