We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Distribution Logistics Coordinator to join our logistics team. Job Summary: The Warehouse Distribution Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the distribution and logistical operations within the warehouse, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. This role involves coordinating logistics activities, optimizing processes, managing inventory, and ensuring that all operations comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Location: Salt Lake Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm (must be willing to stay late to finish orders) Pay Rate: $22.00-$24.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repetitively. Stand or walk for extended periods, and work in various warehouse conditions.

``` - Logistics Coordination: - Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including scheduling deliveries and pickups. - Ensure all staged pallets are organized and ready for dispatch in accordance with delivery schedules. - Work with carriers, freight forwarders, and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery. - Work closely with the dispatcher to plan and coordinate delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products. - Track and trace shipments, providing updates to relevant stakeholders. - Minimal Supervision: Perform tasks independently, demonstrating strong initiative and problem-solving skills. - Inventory Management: - Oversee the accuracy of inventory records and manage stock levels. - Receive and organize incoming shipments, ensuring all inventory is accurately accounted for and stored properly. - Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy. - Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage stock replenishment. - Analyze inventory data to forecast future needs and minimize overstock or stockouts. - Order Fulfillment: - Manage the processing of orders, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and shipping. - Pull orders using a forklift, stage products on pallets, and securely wrap them for delivery. - Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments. - Resolve any order discrepancies or issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. - Process Improvement: - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse and logistics operations. - Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics activities. - Safety and Compliance: - Ensure all logistics and warehouse operations comply with OSHA and other regulatory standards. - Maintain a safe working environment, promoting safety protocols among staff. - Oversee the proper handling, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials if applicable. - Team Collaboration: - Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate activities. - Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. - Reporting and Documentation: - Prepare and maintain accurate reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and warehouse activities. - Analyze logistics data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. - Ensure proper documentation of all shipments, inventory movements, and logistics activities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years experience or more in logistics coordination, warehouse operations, or distribution management.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Physical Fi ness: This role requires a physically capable individual who can lift, carry, and maneuver heavy items throughout the workday.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and MS Office Suite.
