What You'll Do
As the Vice President of Procurement you will be leading and managing the America's Procurement function, ensuring a high performing team, delivering on cost effective solution, and balancing internal requirements with supply market capability and risk.
nDesign and implement the DNA Procurement strategy and ongoing initiatives in line with overall business performance goals
nFunctional leadership, coaching, development, inclusion, performance management, and objective setting for all team members
nEnsuring comprehensive sourcing strategies exist for all categories of spend which are supportive of and aligned with broader business goals
nEstablishment and delivery of annual and longer term savings targets
nAct as a safety leader within the organization and support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion both within the procurement team as well as the broader organization
nEnsure security of supply for all key products and services
nEstablishment and delivery of service level agreements with internal customers
nManage and lead engagement process with internal customers and external service providers.
nLead the development, implementation, and alignment of category sourcing strategies and supplier network capabilities for key commodities and spend categories to achieve broad business objectives
nIdentify, develop, and manage strategic business relationships and gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements
nEnsure delivery of effective capital, shutdown, services and operational spare parts procurement for all sites within region
nMaintain and provide a current understanding of industry best practices and technology trends to team members and business partners
nMeasure and manage the overall performance of the supplier network within the field of expertise
nDirect the development and negotiation of complex agreements with suppliers encompassing key program specifications and functional objectives
nManage governance and control programs to ensure business continuity, protect company assets, and comply with corporate and regulatory policies
nEnsure organizational financial goals are met, including budget and savings
nManage an operating budget
nDevelop annual cost savings programs and implement business strategies that directly affect company financial results and growth plans
nAdvise on global supplier network capabilities and commodity/spend category trends and industry best practices Manage effective transactions processes for all categories of spend in line with Global Procurement Policy
