The group's main business is the implementation of mission critical digital mobile communication systems for Government and Public Safety Communications customers.

The Upgrade Operations (UO) department specializes in performing software and hardware upgrades on live customer systems. The UO department focus is on minimizing the customer's downtime during software upgrades in order to optimize their upgrade experience during the moments that matter.Job Description Our Company has an outstanding track record of success and strives to build long term relationships with our customers. The Motorola Solutions team comprises Implementation and Field Engineering, Project Management, Systems Engineering and System Technologist personnel working together in a high performance culture, often with demanding cycle times and high customer expectations as we work to deploy mission critical communication systems.

Many of these systems are designed around the APCO Project 25 communications standard, often with interfaces to other critical customers' sub-systems. With the growth of data services some of our customers' mobile wireless networks are being enhanced with connectivity to an LTE infrastructure, leveraging compelling applications and live mobile video, supplementing our traditional core voice and narrow-band data networks.

The Sr. System Engineer will be responsible for all technical aspects of the assigned upgrade or technology migration from project initiation through project completion.
