The Senior Program Coordinator for the Information Technology Disaster Recovery (DR) program is responsible for comprehensive administration and enhancement of new and existing DR initiatives. This role coordinates the development, organization, direction and maintenance of DR program initiatives. The coordinator oversees scheduled DR activities, including RTO/RPO business requirements, IT service delivery capabilities and IT service gap analysis. The coordinator also oversees annual IT DR tabletop activities, DR workbook updates, and IT DR training activities. Working closely with multiple department teams, this position ensures seamless coordination of key DR activities. The coordinator will act as the primary liaison between internal IT service owners and key business stakeholders to understand and meet their needs for applicable IT DR programs. This position is not responsible for providing patient care.

Responsibilities
Coordinates the daily operations and procedures of the UUH Information Technology Disaster Recovery (DR) program.
Develops and implements DR program goals and performs strategic and tactical planning by establishing short- and long-term objectives.
Assesses DR training needs and coordinates training programs to address them.
Ensures DR program success by analyzing feedback and providing appropriate follow-through.
Develops and implements DR-specific policies and procedures.
Monitors external factors, or other related changes, impacting the DR program and makes recommendations for improvement and compliance.
Maintains document control for all DR program policies, training checklists and education documents.
Manages and provides KPI results to established stakeholders and program channels.
Coordinates with leadership and project management to ensure timely completion of all DR program projects.
Evaluates program effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvements.
Reviews contract terms and service agreements impacting DR programs.
Develops systems and implementation records to support and advance the DR program.
Coordinates DR program meeting reviews related to the operational plan, as needed.
Assists in designing and implementing appropriate evaluation tools to measure program effectiveness.
Implements strategies to promote and expand the IT DR program.
Partners with key business stakeholders to promote DR programs and services to internal customers.
Represents the department in addressing issues and questions related to the IT DR program.

Qualifications
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, a related field or equivalency.
Four (4) years of experience working directly with IT disaster recovery programs and projects.
Qualifications (Preferred)
Preferred
Professional certifications in or willingness to obtain DR/BC certification such as: DRI CBCP, ABCP,
Certification and practical experience with Service Management best practices (ITSM)
Experience working in a healthcare, research, or academic environment.
