Nelson Laboratories Holdings, LLC Sr. Business Systems Analyst in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
The Senior Business Analyst analyzes different business areas to determine process improvement, automation needs and opportunities. Education and experience requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as Business Systems Analyst including requirements gathering, technical writing, functional specification, and analytics.
- 3 years of proven experience in project management required.
- 3 years of experience of leading change and training initiatives while implementing technical solutions.
- (Laboratory operations or health sciences industry preferred)
- Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration and Computer Systems or other related field.
- Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Prefer to have Microsoft CRM experience.
Essential job functions:
- Lead requirements gathering sessions.
- Define and document timelines.
- Follow defined process methodology.
- Ensure requirements completeness and traceability.
- Perform analysis on business area and automation applicability.
- Contact for business users when system issues arise.
- Follow applicable regulatory requirements (GMP, GLP, ISO, etc.).
- Know and follow company policies and procedures.
- Complete required training on time.
- Review / approve business analysis estimates.
- Trains and mentor's other IT Business Analysts
- Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- IT project lead on business projects.
- Lead the maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting, and implementing new software and hardware programs.
- Provides information in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience.
- Prepares and delivers presentations for a variety of audiences in a clear, organized, and understanding manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical requirements:
Must be able to sit at a desk on a computer for 90% of the day and 10% standing or walking around the lab.
