The Indirect/Overhead Costs Finance Analyst manages activities related to the organization's forecasting and analysis over Indirect Costs. This role will manage costs primarily in our Program Management and Facilities departments.
Essentials Functions:
Manage the compilation of data and analysis to complete a proper Indirect Cost FPRP, FPRA, and rolling monthly forecast for the business unit.
approve all requests for spend to proactively track and manage cost forecasts.
Provide Monthly and Quarterly reporting for SG&A and Unallowable expenses.
Work with directors to establish budgets and report performance against those budgets.
Support the manager on ad-hoc requests from the Director, CFO, etc.
Interface with all levels within the organization and provide support to other financial operations as required.
Understand the difference of costs that are allowable vs. unallowable under FAR.
Work closely to support Government Liaison on Cost Impacts, and any other government compliance items required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior forecasting and budget experience.
Prior experience working in finance for a defense contractor.
Work in a team environment, as many deliverables are produced as a team.
Focus on accuracy, timeliness, and submitting the best products to our customers.
Ability to be an organized, proactive leader who drives for solutions and results in a timely manner.
