CHG Medical Staffing Service Desk Manager in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

The Service Desk Manager leads a high performing team in providing exceptional customer service while being the first level of support for technical issues. Our team is focused on building a strong foundation to support the continued growth of our company. We strive for excellence in ensuring our users and customers get back to work quickly as they provide for the healthcare needs in our communities.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Oversee and lead a team of service desk specialists, ensuring efficient operations, adherence to processes, and timely resolution of user issues.
  • Trust Building: Effectively lead team and clear roadblocks by building trusting relationships throughout the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance processes, workflows, and documentation identifying bottlenecks and implementing best practices.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor performance indicators for trends, staffing, and coaching needs.
  • Communication: Collaborate with other IT teams, business units, and external vendors to build and maintain strong relationships and ensure alignment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to motivate and guide a team, set performance expectations, and foster a positive work environment based on CHG Core Values.
  • Adaptability to evolving technology and business needs with ability to guide a team through the same.
  • Dedication to creating strong relationships through collaboration and teamwork.
  • Resilient nature with proven ability to overcome challenging situations and thrive in ambiguous situations.
  • Clear focus to create strategy for growth across 5000+ users and 10,000+ customers.
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience
  • Experience working in an IT related field
  • Knowledge of IT practices and policies.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian, Jira, Okta, and Salesforce products.
  • Knowledge of process improvement or change management strategies and practices.

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $72,600 -- $157,100 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
