About the Team

The CX Senior System Architect role resides in the CX Systems, Operations, and Analytics organization. This team supports all systems and analytics used by the Customer Experience (CX) organization, as well providing operational support for various areas including deal management and deployment administration. Key collaborators for this team including Field Services, Customer Success, Support, Education, and our Subscription Services team.

 

About the Role

 

The CX System, Operations, and Analytics team is looking for a Sr. System Architect to lead the design, development, and the implementation of enterprise-wide business systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business processes and translate business requirements into technical solutions. This is a highly transparent technical leadership role responsible for the outcomes and success of business solutions that play a key role in delivering supporting technology to the CX organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical architecture thought leadership for existing solutions and the new growth areas.

  • Understanding cross org workday technology direction, so we can absorb technology improvements in a thoughtful way.

  • Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and identify duplications and areas for improvement.

  • Advise on the reduction of technical debt for future stability and expansion.

  • Continually researching current and new technologies and proposing changes where needed.

  • Working with technical leadership to establish architecture excellence in designs, research and clarity.

  • Advocating technical research and investments to workday CX, P&T and BT for visibility and shared adoption

  • Advocate for architecture needs and prioritize solutions

  • Learning new technologies to stay ahead of the curve and be an authoritative resource for our engineering teams.

  • Mentoring business system analysts to on technical solutions

  • Establish partnership and work with leadership to advocate technical solutions to key CX initiatives

  • Collaborate with product and strategy to champion a strong roadmap and brainstorm / prototype CX solutions.

  • Advising various collaborators about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.

  • Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources and scope

     

     

About You

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis and design

  • 5+ years of experience working with enterprise-wide software solutions such as Salesforce.com and Workday

  • Understanding of sophisticated business processes to support Go To Market initiatives

  • Experience with Agile delivery met odologies

  • Accomplished verbal and written communication, with the ability to construct easily consumable messaging for a broad variety of audiences

  • Strong analytical problem solver with the interpersonal skills to influence, maintain positive relationships, and collaborate at all levels, including executive leadership

  • Ability to drive collaboration and influence across functional teams

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or equivalent

Other Qualifications

  • Good communicator able to synthesize and communicate among collaborators.

  • Ability to influence collaborators and improve experiences to meet business objectives.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.CA.Pleasanton

 

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $164,000 USD - $246,000 USD

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $125,300 USD - $246,000 USD
