Description Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Microsoft Business Central Developer to join their team and play a key role in the development and deployment of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central solutions.
Job Summary:
The Senior Microsoft Business Central Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of their clients. This role requires extensive experience in AL Development and a deep understanding of business processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and customization of Microsoft Business Central applications using AL (Application Language). Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with client requirements. Implementation: Manage the full lifecycle of Dynamics 365 and Business Central deployments, including requirement analysis, system configuration, data migration, and user training. Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between Business Central and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed solutions, addressing any issues promptly and implementing enhancements as needed. Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals to support the implementation and ongoing use of the solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Mentorship: Mentor and guide entry level developers, sharing best practices and promoting continuous learning within the team. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and deploying Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central solutions. Extensive experience with AL Development is required. Technical Skills: Proficient in AL Development for Microsoft Business Central. Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central architecture and development framework. Experience with C/AL is a plus. Proficient in using Visual Studio Code and other development tools. Knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS, and other reporting tools. Experience with APIs, web services, and third-party integrations. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central • Proficient in languages such as C# - Sharp, Java • Familiarity with Azure DevOps • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Software Developer Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
