Job Description Summary
Sr. Solutions Delivery Architect is responsible for creating Low Level Design (LLD) documents and providing technical knowledge to support the Sales and Solution Architecture teams, as well as interact with potential and new Clients to assist with identifying components in scope for Client On-boarding and Migrations. Solutions Delivery Architect is also responsible for performing Client Onboarding, Migrations, and completing end to end server builds.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Detail oriented – Will be responsible for creating concise and complete documentation that will be used by other teams for execution/reference
· Excellent Customer Service and communication skills – Will be required to meet with Clients on site and/or virtually to gather information for Statements of Work and Client specific solutions
· Regularly lead self and others – Will be required at times to be the sole Technical Lead for client engagements and provide support for additional teams that are involved
· Understands the whole picture and adjusts work accordingly – Flexibility and thought leadership will be required to accommodate Client specific solutions
· Determines need for and responsible for installing and configuring server operating systems, applications, and building/utilizing OS provisioning repositories where available
· Writes batch and shell scripts for computer systems automation and information gathering – Automation is key for providing standard and repeatable process to streamline Client Onboarding, Migrations and Server Builds
· Develop and Build deployment methodologies and create run books for others to utilize – Will be responsible for generating Client specific deployment packages as well as associated detailed documentation to be shared with other teams
· Possess a solid understanding of server operating systems and enterprise class applications – Will be responsible for installation and configuration of Server OS’s (i.e. Windows Server 2016, RHEL 7, VMware ESXi 6.5, etc.) as well as installation and configuration of applications (i.e. Active Directory, IIS, Citrix XenApp, VMware vCenter, etc.)
· Possess a full understanding of server hardware components and enterprise class server hardware – Will be required to properly configure server hardware in preparation for OS and application deployments
· Full Knowledgeable of network design, components and computer systems interactions – Will be required to communicate intelligently and effectively with Network and Firewall personnel to ensure proper connectivity for Client deployments and solutions QUALIFICATIONS
Required
· Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
