University of Utah Senior Director of Advancement, College in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
University of Utah Health seeks a dynamic, collaborative fundraising professional to serve as the Senior Director of Advancement (SDOA) and seek philanthropic support for the identified priorities of the College of Pharmacy (COP). This essential and highly visible position will manage relationships with a portfolio of donors with the capacity to make major to principal gifts in the six and seven-figure gift range. The SDOA will build philanthropic support by engaging and involving all University of Utah Health alumni, faculty, administrators, foundations, corporations, and government agencies. The SDOA will articulate and execute an annual advancement work plan focused on best practices, including goals, metrics, and philanthropic priorities, leading to the procurement of private support for the COP. The SDOA will work with and help staff the COP Alumni Association Board. The SDOA works closely with the COP alumni relations, and communications staff. In addition, the SDOA will work with the directors of annual giving, legacy giving, corporate and foundation relations, donor relations, and prospect research throughout University of Utah Health to build and implement effective strategies and collaborative partnerships that will lead to long-term relationships and significant gift support from prospective benefactors.This position will report directly to the Senior Executive Director of Advancement (SEDOA) for University of Utah Health Academics Advancement and secondarily report to the Dean of the COP.
