Principal Duties As a Senior Business Analyst for State Finance,you will:
- Evaluate software modifications and system upgrades. Review developed plans,scripts and executed test steps to determine the success/failure of changes made to supported systems software.
- Review systems and practices to ensure compliance with state policy,procedures,regulations and Division of Finance standards.
- Consult with and support agencies who need functionality beyond that offered by Division of Finance systems as they design,develop and implement processes to generate interfacing transactions to be sent to existing Finance systems.
- Anticipate the impact that new or modified software will have on existing statewide policy and procedures,and Division of Finance standards and systems.
- Provide help-desk support to answer calls and solve/close help tickets.
- Be on-call for system support during production cycles and batch processing.

- Experience analyzing and evaluating software systems.
- Experience using tools to extract data from a database to conduct data analysis.
- Experience in problem-solving,providing solutions to issues,learning on the fly,and being agile.
- Possesses excellent communication and analytical skills and works well in a collaborative environment.
