Primary Worksite: 166 East 1400 0 South, Suite 200, Draper, UT 84020.
Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction Company, LLC, located in Draper, Utah, seeks thirteen (13) full-time, temporary Finishers (Level 1).
Travel is required to client worksites located throughout Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, and Utah counties.
Daily transportation is provided from employer-provided housing to intended worksites.
On-the-job training is provided.
Wage: $24.89 per hour, paid every other week (bi- weekly). Overtime is available at $37.34 per hour.
Schedule: 60 hours per week (Monday - Saturday); normal schedule 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due.
The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by government (excluding passport fees). This job is in connection with a future H-2B Foreign Labor Certification application.
Smooths and finishes surfaces of poured concrete highway roads to specified textures by performing the following duties. The size of the project and organization of the work determining whether a worker spends all his time on one job or is transferred from task to task as the project progresses to completion. Some workers habitually work in one branch of the industry, whereas others transferred from task to task as the project progresses to completion or according to the availability of work or on a seasonal basis. May be designated according to specific work performed.
No education required. 6 months experience as a Finisher or related occupation required. In lieu of the 6 months of experience as a Finisher or related occupation, employer would accept either an associate's degree (or equivalent) or a suitable combination of education, tra ining, and experience that it deems to be equivalent to 6 months of experience as a Finisher or related occupation. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Must have the ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
