Description

Monsen Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer. As a Sales Engineer, you'll use your technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products, for which a certain level of expertise is needed. You'll assist colleagues with bids and tenders for new clients from a technical perspective. Technical sales engineers are a key point of contact for clients and provide both pre and after-sales advice and support.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to help achieve sales growth and account penetration for Monsen Engineering survey and construction technology products such as scanning, mobile mapping, aerial services, autonomy, etc.

  • Help with new customer sales demonstration for Trimble and non-Trimble product applications.

  • New product and software integration into customers’ existing workflows.

  • High level (Tier 3) support technical communicator with Monsen team and Trimble Service and Support.

  • Manage Trimble BETA testing for Monsen team and customers.

  • Find ways to implement technology solutions into Monsen team to help with productivity and efficiency.

  • Expand into other product lines and other new technology products to grow Monsen sales & support opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or Equivalent in an engineering base or similar discipline.

  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.

  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in survey, construction, and CAD software.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent presentation and creativity skills

  • Willingness to travel
