This position provides training for a Music Therapy intern to develop therapeutic and evidence-based interventions to meet the physical, cognitive, emotional, social, spiritual, and cultural needs of patients and their caregivers. Under the direction and supervision of a Board-Certified Music Therapist, the intern will gain skills developing treatment plans, implementing, and evaluating music therapy interventions, and ensuring safe and appropriate therapeutic services are provided.Corporate Overview: The University of Utah is a Level 1 Trauma Center and is nationally ranked and recognized for our academic research, quality standards and overall patient experience.
