ARUP LABORATORIES Medical Laboratory Scientist II (PERM) in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City, Utah is hiring for full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist II (NYQ), 1 opening. The MLS II (NYQ) in the Molecular Genetics laboratory will operate/maintain instrument platforms such as Quantstudio 12K Flex, LC 480, BioArray, and MassArray Maldi-TOF; Chemagic and Maxwell extraction platforms; perform routine and complex lab tests to provide physicians with rapid and accurate results; will participate in preparing specimens for processing; perform waived, moderate, and highly complex analytical processes; establish, perform, and document quality assurance, quality control, and equipment maintenance; confirm and verify results through in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments; correlate and interpret data based on knowledge of factors affecting test results; data handling and input. Requires Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or in the chemical or biological sciences; and ASCP or AAB certification as MLS or MT.
