The Manager, Information Security role is a unique, multi-faceted function whose objective is to drive the completion all of Amex GBT's information security Client RFP assessments as well as Information Protection Contract Requirements. This role is both Client and Vendor facing. The Information Security Manager’s responsibilities include:

What You'll Do:

  • Serves as a point of contact for information security related audit and assessments requests.

  • Supports heavy flow of responses to RFIs/RFPs

  • Responsible for working with Procurement on the review of security sections of the contract; represents GBT as applicable, both Client side and Vendor side

  • Leads/Contributes to creating RFP and contract review standard answers knowledge base

  • Develops/Leads/Contributes to process training of internal stakeholders

  • Enhances compliance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

  • Other related as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and external Clients and potential Clients

  • Prior experience information security regulatory compliance, audit or similar

  • Knowledge of Travel Industry and related travel products helpful

  • Knowledge of global regulations related to information protection

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and industry certifications (CISSP or CISA preferred)

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in information security compliance; financial industry experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of NIST 800-53, ISO 27000 series, SOX, COBIT and similar industry recognized standards and regulations

  • Sound interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills; sound business judgment, and proven expertise in directing the efforts of a technical staff

  • Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbal

  • Ability to work under deadline pressure, multiple priorities and maintain positive attitude

  • Advanced MS Excel and Word skills are a plus

Location

United States

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
