Job Overview
To complete all required reports, paperwork, logs and other record keeping for shop. To schedule jobs in the shop and serve as a technical resource to mechanics. Should be 30% billable.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Prepare work schedule, assign mechanics to jobs and ensure timely completion of assignments
- Complete paperwork to provide accurate and timely billing to customers and correct data for department analysis
- Provide technical guidance to mechanics
- Participate as a working Shop Lead with 30% billable time.
- Other duties that may be assigned to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the local service department.
Qualifications/Requirements
- AA Degree or 5+ years exp
- Good communication, verbal and written
- Knowledge of all mechanical systems
- Ability to lead and direct others
