Schedule: Monday - Friday (40 hrs/wk)6:00 AM - 3:00 PMThis position requires being on call every third weekend from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM and on some holidays

Primary Purpose:

The IT Services System Administrator I is part of a small team which supports multiple enterprise systems including Active Directory, MS Exchange, and Cloud services and technologies.

Essential Functions:

Manages the Helpdesk queue by completing support requests, or escalating to other team members if necessary.

Provides support for Identity, Communication, and Collaboration services.

Reviews daily system alerts and schedules service or escalation if needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Physical and Other Requirements:

Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.

Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Communicate: Frequently communicate with others.

PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies.

ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Fine Motor Control: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.

Vision: Having close, far, and peripheral visual acuity to perform a variety of tasks such as make general observations of depth and distance.

Qualifications

Education

Required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or better in Accounting

Licenses & Certifications

Preferred

  • Applic Professional Cert

  • A+ Certification

Experience

Required

  • Knowledge of Active Directory domain services and AzureAD

  • Competence in Windows OS (Workstation & Server) support

  • Knowledge of MS Exchange & Office365 functionality

  • Two (2) years of continuous IT Systems Support experience Or one (1) year of continuous experience with appropriate IT Certification

Preferred

  • College degree in IT Systems or related field

  • IT Industry Certification (A+, MCP, MCSE, etc.)

  • Relevant Technology Certifications

  • Familiarity with Cloud services (Azure, AWS, etc.)

  • Knowledge of PowerShell Cmdlets, Pipeline, etc.

  • Knowledge of Apple MacOS support
