Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Senior IT Project Manager to join our team. This position will work closely with the Director of Systems and Technology to manage and oversee projects for the College of Nursing and College of Health. The role involves spearheading IT initiatives that span infrastructure improvements, classroom technology upgrades, and internal process enhancements, as well as other technology-focused areas.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage complex projects, and a talent for fostering collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and manage IT projects across the College of Nursing and College of Health, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and timelines.
Collaborate with the Director of Systems and Technology to identify project priorities and resources.
Work closely with internal stakeholders (faculty, staff, and students) and external partners (vendors, contractors, and service providers) to ensure successful project outcomes.
Oversee IT infrastructure upgrades, ensuring robust, secure, and reliable systems.
Lead initiatives to improve classroom technology to support innovative teaching and learning.
Enhance internal processes through technology-driven solutions.
Communicate project updates, risks, and milestones effectively with stakeholders.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
Ensure compliance with institutional and industry IT standards and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and at least 7 years of experience in the field or related area.
Project Management Professional ( PMP ) Certification may be required depending on area of assignment.
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
Preferences
PMP , PRINCE2, or Agile certifications would be beneficial
ITIL or higher education-specific certifications are a plus
Experience managing projects in higher education
