BREEZE AVIATION GROUP INC Human Resource Generalist in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

Breeze Airways is seeking an initiative-taking and energetic People Team (HR) Generalist. This key role is an integral part of the team, responsible to ensure the hiring experience is seamless and a positive experience for new Team Members, transactions are compliant, support various projects, coordinate activities, and implement initiatives on the team and across the company. This key individual will have excellent people skills, be a critical thinker, have solid decision-making skills and a solid understanding of People team best practices, be motivated to build new and streamlined processes and have a fierce desire to be a part of something extraordinary.

Here's what you'll do
  • Provide support to Breeze Team Members and people leaders by hiring, researching policies, record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS data entry and miscellaneous ad hoc inquiries and assignments.
  • Ensure swift and timely completion of all new and transferring Team Member hiring processes.
  • Maintain People Services ticketing system (ClickUp) -- including responding to, classifying, and finalizing to completion all tickets. Forwarding emails not managed by the People Services team to the proper team (e.g. Benefits, Payroll) through ClickUp.
  • Assist Team Members with all questions pertaining to policies, procedures, guidelines, and Team Playbooks and assist both Team Members and Supervisors with self-service tasks in Workday.
  • Establish and maintain compliance transactions such as communication, follow up on training assignments, and maintaining various reporting pieces as well as assisting with compliance-related special projects.
  • Collaborate with other members of the People Team on various projects, events, and engagement. Updating and maintaining the People Team SharePoint page.
  • Process transactions in Workday such as terminations, corrective actions, name changes, personal information changes, etc. Also create reports in Workday.
  • Mineral Training invitations and tracking.
  • Relocation bonus tracking.
  • Assist the Manager, People Team with Team Member relations issues, including interviews of Team Members, creating, and maintaining investigation documentation.
  • Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence
Here's what you need to be successful

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience on a People Team (HR) or Administration role
  • Basic understanding of state and federal employment law and record-keeping standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 + years of Workday experience
  • Experience in Mineral, Click-Up, and a ticketing system.
  • Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Human Capital Institute (HCI) membership and participation
  • Excel, SharePoint, and other MS Office products
  • Experience with airlines or other transportation industry organizations
