University of Utah Clinical Program Community Health Worker in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
Administers and influences clinical care for Student Led Clinic programming, including teaching and curriculum for medical students and delivering preventative screening services, education, and outreach to vulnerable populations, contributing to the wellness of local communities.The Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) is the primary federal agency for improving access to healthcare services for people who are uninsured, isolated, or medically vulnerable. HRSA is supporting the University of Utah School of Medicine to develop this medical education project designed to prepare and encourage medical students to choose residencies and careers in primary care that serve tribal communities, rural communities, and/or medically underserved communities (MUCs) after they graduate. Funding from HRSA for this project expires on June 30, 2025, and financial support for this position cannot be assured after that time and may be terminated.
