U Career Success is comprised of a dynamic team of coaches, employer relations managers, and marketing and events professionals aspiring together to help students achieve their optimal career objectives. We are seeking individuals to expand our efforts to reach each U of U student from every major and discipline.Depending upon specialty area, auxiliary career coaches may guide students through career preparation that runs the gamut from exploration, personal branding (resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles), applying for jobs and internships, interviewing and networking skills, finally leading to compensation negotiation for early-stage careers.This auxiliary position is designed for mid- to late-stage and retired professionals who enjoy working with the college-aged students who will benefit from their own career experience and accumulated wisdom.The ideal candidate is passionate about student success, comfortable with change and innovation, collaborative and supportive, has a strong client services orientation, a desire to succeed in placement metrics, and a high level of professionalism
